A premium, restaurant-quality seafood dish. Pan-seared salmon fillets coated in a sticky, sweet, and savory honey garlic glaze, finished with fresh lemon juice and chopped parsley.
Ingredients for Honey Garlic Glazed Salmon
- 4 fresh salmon fillets (approx. 150g each)
- 3 tablespoons raw honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 fresh lemon (sliced & juiced)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Fresh parsley, finely chopped
Step-by-Step Cooking Instructions
- Season the salmon fillets generously with salt, pepper, and a pinch of paprika on both sides.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice to create the glaze sauce.
- Heat olive oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Place the salmon fillets skin-side up and sear for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
- Flip the salmon over, reduce heat to medium, and pour the honey garlic mixture into the skillet around the fillets.
- Spoon the sauce continuously over the salmon as it simmers and thickens, about 3-4 minutes, until the salmon is cooked through and perfectly glazed.
- Garnish with fresh lemon slices and chopped parsley. Serve hot, drizzling the remaining pan glaze over the top.
